One way leads to heaven, the other, down to the depths of hell The next i was in hell, when you said it was over I am caught in the currents of emotion Its like i have just entered a stairwell and I must make a decision One moment I was in heaven, believing what we shared and had was real but at the moment, what you have done to me, you hurt me, how can you say one thing and do another? And you thought i would understand Heaven or Hell did you take me for a fool my dearest? So i am on that stairwell, I look up and see my path ahead of me, And i promise myself, That i will find heaven again one day Once again I offered another my heart, and was betrayed by a careless whisper, One moment i felt myself in heaven, the next i was dragged down to the pits of hell But i cannot just be what you want me to be, you cannot believe that i would just agree by your terms and forget my wants and needs and my ideals |
